    What we collect

Account data: your email address, name, and password (stored hashed). Content: the videos, thumbnails, and metadata you upload. Billing: payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers — only the card brand, last four digits, and billing status needed to run your subscription. Usage: standard server logs and product analytics (pages visited, features used) to operate and improve the service. How you found us: when you create an account we keep, with it, the first page of your visit, the campaign tags in the link you arrived on (such as utm_source), whether that link came from an ad click (not the click identifier itself) and the name of the website that sent you. We use it only to learn which of our marketing works. No cookie is involved: it is read from the page address, and if you choose "Continue with Google" a short note is kept in that browser tab until you are back, then deleted.

    Viewer data

When someone watches a video you host with us, we record playback events (views, watch time, approximate location derived from IP, device type) and provide them to you as analytics. If you enable email gates or lead-capture CTAs, the emails viewers submit belong to you; we store them on your behalf and you can export or delete them at any time.

    How we use data

To provide the service (hosting, encoding, streaming, access control), bill subscriptions, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and send transactional email such as password resets and billing notices. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content or your viewers' data for advertising.

    Service providers

We rely on vetted infrastructure providers for payment processing, content delivery, storage, transcoding, and transactional email. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us and is bound by their own data-protection commitments.

    Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and session management. On our public pages we also ask whether we may load Google's advertising tag, which lets us see which Google Ads bring people to StreamVault. If you allow it, Google sets its _gcl_*cookies for up to 90 days and receives the pages you visit here; if you decline, or until you answer, nothing from Google is loaded. The tag is never loaded inside the video player, on channel pages, or anywhere your viewers see, and it is never used for remarketing. You can change your answer at any time via "Cookie choices" in the footer. Your choice is kept in your browser for a year.

    Retention & deletion

Content and account data are kept while your account is active. When you delete a video, its source and streaming copies are removed from storage through a cleanup queue. When you close your account, we delete your content and personal data except records we must keep for accounting and legal compliance.

    Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA and UK), you may have additional statutory rights. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
