Set-up in five steps

Allow your Thinkific domains in StreamVault
Settings → Allowed Domains: add your thinkific.com subdomain (for example yourschool.thinkific.com) and your custom domain. Anything not listed is refused at the edge.

Upload or import the videos
Drop the files into a DRM-enabled project or import from Vimeo by pasting links. Subtitles are generated automatically and can be translated.

Copy the embed page URL or the embed code
Open the video and click Embed. Thinkific accepts either: the embed page URL for a Multimedia lesson, or the full iframe code for an HTML/Text lesson.

Create the lesson
Add a Multimedia lesson and paste the embed URL, or add a Text lesson, switch its editor to HTML view and paste the iframe code. Save and preview as a student.

Set completion the way you already do
Thinkific tracks completion at the lesson level, so "mark complete" and drip schedules keep working; the only thing that changed is the player inside the lesson.

Does DRM work inside an embedded player?
Yes. The StreamVault embed code is an iframe with allow="encrypted-media", which is what browsers need to negotiate Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay licences inside a third-party page. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and every iOS browser play protected video inside the lesson without a plugin.
Does StreamVault replace the platform's checkout or membership?
No, and it is not meant to. Your platform keeps taking payments and deciding who can open a lesson. StreamVault protects the video once someone is on that page: the domain lock stops the embed working anywhere else, signed URLs expire, and DRM stops downloads and blanks screen recorders. The two layers do different jobs.
Multimedia lesson or HTML lesson — which is better?
Multimedia is the quicker path and fills the lesson area cleanly. Use an HTML lesson when you want text, downloads or several videos on the same page; the responsive embed code sizes itself to the column.
I already have videos uploaded to the platform. Do I have to re-upload?
Upload the originals to StreamVault once (or paste Vimeo links and let the importer fetch them), then replace each lesson's video with the embed code. Your existing lesson structure, pricing and students are untouched — only the player inside the lesson changes.
